May Flowers Monster 14
Finley the River Beast befriended an otter named Otto, who would leave for the shore from time to time, and return to play. Finley was curious about what it was like beyond the water and asked Otto what his favorite thing about being on land was. Otto told Finley about how in the springtime, colorful plants called flowers would bloom, and how he enjoyed frolicking in the fields with his friends, enjoying all of the colors and scents. Finley was sad that he couldn’t do the things that Otto could, and wished to see (and smell) these things called flowers. It wasn’t long before Otto returned to the water to bring Finley a big, bright, beautiful red flower, so that his good friend from the river could now enjoy what he and his friends on the land enjoy as well!
